ISLAMABAD: PTI leader and former Punjab Minister Ali Afzal Sahi was arrested by police here in connection with terrorism case registered against him. Ali Afzal Sahi was arrested from outside Judicial Complex in federal capital where he came to secure bail in case registered at Golra Police Station Islamabad.

Though anti-terrorism court extended interim bail of PTI leader until July 3, but after he came out of court, Islamabad police arrested him in connection with other cases registered against him.

Meanwhile, an anti-terrorism court in Lahore extended judicial remand of senior PTI leader Mehmoodur Rashid for another 14 days. PTI leader was produced in court in connection with torching Shadman Police Station case. Court ordered police to bring back accused to court on June 27.
