Ex-PM Nawaz ‘worried’ over POL price hike

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah asserted that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was worried over increase in petrol and diesel prices. Speaking on private news channel, he said that Nawaz Sharif said he cannot burden people with another penny.
Rana Sanaullah lambasted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan for 'breaking' an agreement with International Monetary Fund saying that currently, Fund was not ready to show any leniency.
He said that increase in petrol prices and removing dollar cap were demands of IMF. "Imran Khan and his party are trying to create instability in country," he added.
Referring to PTI leader Fawad Chaudhy's arrest, Rana Sanaullah said that case against former Minister was registered on complaint of Secretary Election Commission.
