Ex-MPAs Khurram Ali, Dr Nadia, Tariqs bid adieu to PTI

ISLAMABAD: One of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leader announced parting ways from party. Former provincial assembly member Malik Khurram Ali addressing press conference here condemned May 9 incidents, saying that he felt heartbroken on violent events of that day. He said that martyrs sacrificed their lives for us. He said to do politics, we first have to make our country strong.
Lauding Pakistan Army’s efforts, he said: “No matter whether it’s flood or earthquake, our troops are first to reach place to help people.” Another PTI leader, ex-MPA Dr Nadia Aziz also announced parting ways with her party. She held press conference and announced her decision to leave PTI. PTI leader and former special assistant to PM on overseas Pakistani during Imran Khan’s tenure Tariq Mehmoodul Hasan also announced to quit party.
In statement in Gujranwala he said that May 9 violent protests have Shaken nation and hoped that public would soon emerge stronger from this crisis. He paid tribute to Pakistan Army and vowed to keep working for overseas Pakistanis.
