Ex-CM Punjab Buzdar tasked to ensure attendance of members

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan given former Punjab CM Sardar Usman Buzdar task to ensure attendance of all members in January 2 parliamentary party meeting over Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi’s vote of confidence matter.
Imran Khan has directed members to ensure 100 percent attendance in joint parliamentary party meeting of PTI and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid and in this regard, PTI Punjab Parliamentary Leader Usman Buzdar has been assigned special task.
Apart from this, PTI Chairman has also directed PML-Q leader Moonis Elahi to ensure attendance 10 members of his party. Decision regarding vote of confidence will be decided based on attendance of members in January 2 meeting.
Sources privy to development said that Imran Khan will decide date of vote of confidence of Punjab Chief Minister on basis of attendance.
PTI currently has 180 seats in Punjab Assembly, while two members former Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Dost Mohammad Mazari and Chaudhry Masood Etimad will not support in vote of confidence.
