KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah discussed restoration of Khairpur Natahn Shah Grid Station with Energy Minister Khurrum Dastagir, which will provide power to flood-affected areas helping de-flood areas. 

According to details, CM Sindh and Energy Minister discussed KN Shah Grid Station, flood waters draining, efficiently if grid is restored and proving power to water pumps. Energy Minister said that he has directed Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) to make grid operational in five days.

Gird would immediately provide power to pumping machines, he added. CM said that most of flood water is being drained via streams and canals, while rest will be drained using pumping machines. Stagnated flood water in many areas would cause great difficulties for flood-affectees as winter is coming, CM said. He added that he wants water to be drained on a priority basis.
