Karachi: An electric wheel operated in city under National Radio Transmission Company was brought to Governor House. Governor Kamran Tessori inspected electric vehicle from Treasury. Later, Governor travelled in it from Governor’s House. He described it as a great gift for city. He said that people will get modern travelling facilities with electric vehicles in city.

He was told that battery of an electric vehicle can be charged in 20 minutes and full battery can cover a distance of 240 km. while electric vehicle has seating capacity of 33 passengers. Members of United Coordination Committee Abdul Haseeb Khan, Abdul Waseem, Abdul Qadir Khanzada, Abdul Rauf Siddiqui, President Arts Council Ahmed Shah, actor Sajid Hassan and well-known cricketer Taufsif Ahmed was also present. 

Talking to media, Governor said that electric vehicle will provide modern facilities to residents of Karachi. In response to a question, he said that position of governor is constitutional. We should sit down and talk and create province wherever we feel need. In response to question Tessori said that there is no problem with appointment of administrator and Muttahida has principled stand on it that 140-A and delimitation should be discussed with friends of PPP.  Discussions are going on, as soon as there is progress, everyone will see administrator of Muttahida next day. In response to another question, he said that governor’s house is doing its best to discuss issues with government. On a question he said that there should be Local Body elections and this is what people of province wants. But matter should be settled in reference with delimitation and security.
