Election will be held very day when SC says: Barrister Aitzaz

LAHORE: PPP senior leader and renowned legal expert Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan has said election will be held on very day Supreme Court (SC) will say to hold.

“Election will be held on very day SC will order to hold. There are myriads of problems in judicial system. There should be right to appeal in suo motu notice, he said this while talking to media men here.

He went on to say all will have come to fore with reference to audios. Then cross examination will take place. Before this audios have no legal status.

Audios of Saifur Rehman, Justice Rashid Aziz and Shehbaz Sharif have come to open. They have not refuted these audios so far.

He held PML-N has created joint matter among judges. They think division has taken place among judges and they will use it. Maryam Nawaz is delivering provocative speeches during dialogue.

He underlined PML-N is polluting environment. Nawaz Sharif had attacked courts against Justice Sajjad Ali Shah in 1997.

He held that three big are going to retire in 2023. They think that Chief Justice of Pakistan and President will retire from their offices and they will be at liberty to do whatever they will. Members of provincial assemblies too will have to cast their votes for election of post of President. How can new President come when electoral votes will not be completed. President will leave his office when election of Punjab assembly are held. New President will be elected when election of Punjab and KP assemblies are held. Election will be held when SC says. Election will be held on very day when SC says to hold.

Aitzaz Ahsan said lawyers will come on roads in support of judges. They will come out too for Chief Justice, Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan and Justice Qazi Faez Isa.
