LAHORE: Former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi could not be indicted in fake recruitments in Punjab Assembly case. Anti-corruption court accepted exemption from attendance plea of Pervaiz Elahi on medical ground. 

Hearing of alleged illegal recruitments in PA case against Pervaiz Elahi and others was held in Anti-corruption court. Anti-corruption took plea in petition Pervaiz Elahi gave job in grade-17 to those who had failed in written examination. Anti-corruption has filed challan in court against accused persons. Court had summoned Pervaiz Elahi and other accused for indictment but Pervaiz Elahi filed exemption plea in court on medical grounds. Court while accepting exemption plea adjourned hearing till June 14.–Online
