Karachi: Chairperson Saraiki Women's Association Karam Akhtar distributed Eid gifts among underprivileged children of Manghopir which brought smiles to their faces. Social worker Karam Akhtar decorated an Eid table at Noorani Hotel Gul Muhammad Goth in Manghopir where various Eid gifts were kept for poor children.

With help of philanthropists Haseen Fatima, Shabana Arif and Muhammad Yousuf, chairperson SWA Karam Akhtar, Sajda Shehbaz and Shehbaz Daher distributed new watches, glasses, slippers, girls' bangles, ribbons, hooks and clothes to more than fifty children. Joy on children's faces on occasion was to be seen. Karam Akhtar said that Eid belongs to children. Poor parents also want to buy new things for their children but they don't have money. People who have capacity to help these kids should come forward.
