Efforts underway to achieve zero load shedding: Dastgir

LAHORE: Minister for Energy Khurram Dastgir Khan said that efforts were being made to attain zero load shedding in country. Addressing press conference here, Minister said that government was leaving no stone unturned to provide relief to people adding Rs 25 billion and Rs 55 billion electricity relief would be provided in erstwhile FATA areas and Azad Kashmir respectively.
He said people of Karachi would get relief of Rs 315 billion and tube wells in Balochistan to get Rs 58 billion relief. Minister claimed that PTI government did not start any programme to improve electricity performance while mentioning PDM government solved problems related to electricity in country by adding 5,000 megawatts in system.
