Educationist, VC Federation of Private Schools Khalid Raza gunned down

KARACHI: Unidentified armed men killed Vice Chairman of Federation of Private Schools, Syed Khalid Raza outside his residence here. Firing incident took place in Gulistan-e-Johar Block 7. Police said that slain man was identified as Khalid Raza. Police detailed that unidentified armed men targeted Raza at doorstep of his house.

Police added that attackers did not take belongings after killing Raza. They said that Raza is an office-bearer of private schools’ association. Moreover, he was Vice Chairman of Federation of Private Schools. Following incident, Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori contacted Additional Inspector General Karachi and sought report on Raza’s killing. He ordered AIG Karachi to investigate incident in all aspects.

Meanwhile, Chairman All Private Schools Management Association Sindh Tariq Shah while deploring the incident of killing appealed to the Sindh government to immediately arrest the perpetrators behind the attack and ensure justice to the family of the deceased. He also announced observing ‘black day’ across all schools today.
