“Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world”. This is how Nelson Mandela would define the term. Unfortunately, women have largely been excluded from the educational field. And nowadays the education is being taken for granted by the woman herself and by her society. But the ones who received a proper education have changed the world.

In fact, in order to become an active and useful member of the society, everyone needs to be educated. In other words, women should be educated.

Female education is a very important topic to talk about in our country. As we have discussed the importance of female education in our previous article, in this article I will through some light on the main or global advantages of women education

Female education is the need of the hour. Without educating the women of the country we can’t hope for a developed nation.  Women play a vital role in the -round progress of a country. If we want to make democracy successful, women must be educated.

Empowering more women and girls to receive an education is a major focus of the United Nations’ Goals for Sustainable Development.  Female education is a really important term right now for the entire world. From the very beginning, people used to neglect female education, as a result, women are so much behind according to research. Few first world countries are done really amazing in this, but still, now there are problems. The world is growing and being special day by day. But in every sector, girls are not participating equally with boys. What’s the main reason behind this? I think of female education. Our life starts with education and if we can pursue education properly we can go really long in our life. There are huge controversies about education for a girl. Some people present really funny and weak logic to prevent a girl’s education. But we should stand against them and let our girls to be educated. We can’t imagine a good nation without educated girls.

There are lots of advantages of female education. Our whole society can be benefited from the process. Girls are working with boys outside nowadays; if they don’t get the proper education they won’t get a better job. That’s why they need to pay attention to education. We also need to ensure their study. An educated mother can build an educated family. People won’t get proper good behaviour and manners without a good education.

Education is the backbone of proper society and through education, we can improve all aspects of life regardless of background, financial status and gender. Sadly, in many developing countries, boys are still considered superior to girls and girls are often left behind to maintain the household with little regard for their education.

There are countless advantages of women education some of them are listed below:

ECONOMIC GROWTH: Did you know that when the education rate of girls in a community increases by 1%, the Gross Domestic Product of a country increases by 0.3%? An educated girl is likely to increase her earning potential and improve her community. Educated women can work as entrepreneurs or enter the workforce, bringing home a larger income to support families.  However, when girls stay at home, they complete 2.5 times more unpaid domestic work than their male counterparts, which keeps them out of the labour market and making a living for themselves. Educated women are women that can improve the lives around them. They are building incomes to support their families and empowering other women to do the same.

ENVIRONMENTAL INFLUENCES: The education of women is the best way to save the environment. -E. O. Wilson

We know our environment is facing some serious threats from the population boom and this is clearly seen more in the developing countries. The women education is also lesser in the developing countries as compared to developed countries. This means when there is lesser mass of educated girls in a country then there are more chances of bearing more children. When the health of a mother is compromised then their children growth also and more individual means more consumption of resources. All of this can be systemized when a girl is educated so she would know the impact of her actions on the entire world and for the coming times.

MORE AWARENESS OF THEIR RIGHTS: There is no better way of bringing awareness among the women about their own rights until they are educated. A person can only ask for their rights when they know about their right. For long women in many regions of the world women were not given their due right. Not just that but there are many rights which were revolutionized through the use of awareness. Even in the developing countries the rights of women can be brought into light when there is more education. Education itself empowers women and their rights then can be better delivered

PREVENTION FROM SOCIAL DISCRIMINATION:  Preventing social discrimination early on in development can help save women from suffering depression and other mental health disorders that are a result of being kept at home to carry out chores. By providing women access to education, they can build better support and professional networks, improving their future career prospects.

REDUCTION IN DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Educated girls are far more likely to be aware of issues surrounding violence and abuse and are less likely to become victims of things like domestic and sexual abuse or human trafficking. For every year that a woman is in education, their confidence grows and a confident woman prefers to stand on her own two feet, work outside the home and is much less likely to give in to abusers that like to isolate their unfortunate partners.

An educated woman is like a magic wand that brings prosperity, health, and pride. We just have to unleash her potential and see the magic happen. We have improved a lot on women’s education since our independence, but still, a lot remains to be improved.
