ECP releases party position after Sindh LG by-elections

Karachi: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) released party position after re-poll results in 15 districts of Sindh during LG polls. Polling in first and second rounds of local bodies’ elections was stopped in various districts of Sindh. After re-poll in remaining constituencies, ECP issued party position.

According to ECP, Pakistan Peoples’ Party has upper hand in 7 out of 11 seats of district member while PPP has won 10 out of 16 seats of chairman and vice chairman. Similarly, PPP candidates have grabbed 22 of 32 seats of General Members?

In re-poll, GDA won one seat for district member while the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf won one seat of chairman and vice chairman.
