ECP rejects SIC request for reserved seats

Islamabad: In verdict, Election Commission of Pakistan firmly asserted that Sunni Ittehad Council is not entitled to reserved quota for women and minorities.

Verdict, reached with majority of 4 -1, saw Member Punjab Babar Hasan Bharwana, as lone dissenter in panel. According to which, request of Sunni Unity Council for reserved seats was rejected. Sunni Ittehad Council cannot get reserved seats.
