ISLAMABAD: After getting funds for conducting elections from government, Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) announced schedule of polls in Punjab. According reports ECP announced that elections in Punjab will be held on Thursday, April 30. As per schedule, candidates can submit their nomination papers from March 12 to 14 in concerned office of ECP.

As per notification, candidates will file their nomination papers to Returning Officer from March 12 to 14 and initial lists of nominated candidates will be published on March 15. Applications against nomination papers of any candidate could be submitted by March 27 and Appellate Tribunal will decide appeals on April 3.

On April 4, revised list of candidates will be published and last date for withdrawal of candidature and publication of revised list of candidates will be issued on April 5. Election symbols will be allotted to contesting candidates on April 6 and polling will be held on April 30.
