Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Rana Mashhood said that country’s economy was harmed by disqualifying former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Expressing his thoughts, Rana Mashhood underscored importance of fostering country’s economy. “If economy is strengthened, then situation of poor segment of society will get better.”

“Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder should apologise to masses following statement of Donald Lu,” he added. Crediting PML-N Nawaz Sharif, Mashhood said: “It was Nawaz Sharif who ended power outage in country.”

He underscored importance of reaching an agreement with International Monetary Fund, saying, “If agreement with IMF is not reached, poor segment of society will have to suffer hardships.”
