LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said that economic woes threaten national security.
A high-level delegation from Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) under leadership of Chief Allama Raja Nasir Abbas visited former Prime Minister Imran Khan. During meeting, political situation, cooperation between two parties and matters of mutual interest were discussed in detail. MWM leadership congratulated Imran Khan for organising ‘Haqeeqi Azadi’ march in Rawalpindi and gave full support to upcoming political strategy.
Noting that country suffers from most complex political and economic challenges, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas said that “Actual freedom” narrative has extraordinary acceptance across all schools of thought.
Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, who stressed need for early, fair and transparent polls said that MWM fully supports PTI Chief’s narrative and will support leadership in every phase of political struggle.
Meanwhile, Imran Khan said he values political cooperation of MWM, adding that participation of MWM workers and leaders in ‘actual freedom’ march in Rawalpindi is commendable. Speaking about current economic situation, Imran said that rapidly deteriorating economic situation is bringing extraordinary threats to national survival and security. Underlining importance of ruler and law, former Prime Minister said, “Supremacy of Constitution and law is an essential component for sustainable foundations of country’s development. Imran urged people of all schools of thought to play a part in movement to lead Pakistan on path of Constitution and law.
