Earthquake of 4.3 magnitude hits Lasbela, adjoining areas

QUETTA: Earth quake tremors were felt in district Lasbela of Balochistan and its suburbs yesterday morning. According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, earth quake measuring 4.3 on Richter scale jolted Lasbela and surrounding areas in Balochistan. Depth of earthquake was measured at 41 km with epicentre being 56 km northeast of Bela.
It occurred around 8:44am and had longitude of 66.67 East and latitude of 26.67 North. Its epicentre was 56 kilometer North east of Bela. People came out from their homes reciting Kalima Tayyaba. However no loss to life and property has been reported so far.
