DUHS wins ‘THE’ world’s ranking

Karachi: Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) joined international race of university rankings and won honour of top medical university of Pakistan. Every year, “Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings”, a global ranking organisation of international universities included Dow University in ranking of 601-800. In ranking of 601-800, Dow University has achieved this honour among 1,799 institutions from different regions of world. University’s performance has drastically increased under dynamic leadership of Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammed Saeed Quraishy (T.I).  

University has made consistent efforts in quality research, clinical services, scholarship and community service online with mission, which is providing outstanding patient-centered evidence-based education, training and clinical care informed by cutting-edge research and innovation, generating and disseminating new knowledge. 

According to THE, DUHS has highest ranked pillar of ‘428’ in research citations and also nationally ranked in Pakistan as ‘4th’. Same is acknowledged by World University rankings (WUR).  2023 WUR is considered as most diverse and largest ranking published by THE.
