Dress import 5pc down in 8MFY 2023

ISLAMABAD: Stitched dresses export recorded five percent down in country in first eight months of current year. According to Pakistan Statistic Bureau’s estimate estimate, $ 2.38 billion were earned from export of stitched dresses from August 2022 to February 2023. This is five percent less than previous year. Last year in same period country had earned $ 2.519 billion through export of stitched dresses.

In February valium of stitched dresses export was recorded $ 255 million which was 28 percent less than previous year. Last year in February country had earned $ 356 million.

On monthly bases dresses export was 13 percent less in February as compared to January. January has recorded $ 293 million which went down to $ 255 million in February.
