Dreamworld, Destination, PBBC, ICCIA hold event on Blue Economy

Karachi: Dreamworld Resort in collaboration with Destination Projects Pvt. Ltd, Pakistan Britain Business Council (PBBC) and Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA) organised business networking event. It will engage business community with diplomats in Karachi to stimulate new business opportunities through focusing on services sectors including travel and tourism and especially Blue Economy in Pakistan.
Ali Hamdani CEO Destination Projects by Dreamworld said that 1,000 km coastal belt of Pakistan has tendency to change destiny of country. He briefed on launch of Pakistan’s 1st Beach Hotel Destination Hotel Manora Beach, Destination Hotel Greens Peshawar as well as Destination Projects’ aim of launching 30 properties in different cities in next 3 years under brands of Destination Hotels, Destination Heritage, Destination Holidays and Destination Lodges to promote travel and tourism.
Julian Hamilton Barns Chairman PBBC highlighted huge potential of Blue Tourism and Blue Economy of Pakistan. Rashid Iqbal CEO PBBC encouraged business community to come forward and increase trade and work with their UK counterparts. Dr. Abdul Badih Director Events Islamic Chamber highlighted organising forum on sustainable travel and tourism. He said that there is lot more to be explored.
Irfan Hilal CEO Dreamworld Resort urged diplomats to encourage their governments, investors and businesses, especially those who are involved in blue tourism to explore wonderful opportunities in blue tourism offered by Pakistan.
Chief Guest Mishal Mohammad Ali Al-Ansari, Consul General of Qatar, Saeed Sarparah CEO Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade and Jahanzeb Khan DG Balochistan Coastal Development Authority also addressed.
