Dr Ziauddin Hospital celebrates 75th Independence Day of Pakistan with zeal and zest

Pakistan Independence Day is one of the biggest occasion for Pakistanis. It is the day that everyone honors and observes with full zeal and passion, from children to elders, we feel the patriotic spirit everywhere, as it is in the air.  14 August is a special day, and on this day we celebrate our freedom, go back to history, remember our heroes, and pay tribute to those who laid their lives in establishing and then defending our motherland.

Dr. Ziauddin Hospital has close relation to this special day, the name itself gives a sensational touch of patriotism & devotion – here, recalling the pronounced association of a great leader of times, Sir Dr. Ziauddin Ahmed – the versatile educationalist and his beloved daughter Dr. Aijaz Fatima(late), the founder of  Dr. Ziauddin Hospital. At Dr. Ziauddin Hospital 14th August is celebrated each year with enthusiasm, holding cherished memories and lively movements in real time.

 

This year the Day was celebrated in high spirits.  On the occasion of the Independence Day a flag hoisting ceremony took place at North Nazimabad campus where Dr. Ammad Hussain, Chief Executive of Dr. Ziauddin Hospital and the great grandson of Sir Dr. Ziauddin Ahmed hoisted the Pakistan flag as it flew high in the air, the atmosphere lighted up with everyone singing the national anthem, a moment to rejoice, with smiles all around and the colors for the day, the green and white a beautiful sign speaking up, saying Pakistan Zindabad. MS Dr Shireen was also present along with the top management officials. Dr Sabina Khalid, Chief Operating Officer (COO) Dr Ziauddin Hospital Clifton, Dr Anoop Kumar MS of the hospital attended the event of cake cutting ceremony on the eve of 75th Independence Day celebrations at the medical facility alongwith the senior management and employees at large.
