Karachi: In connection with International Quds Day, scholarly conference was held with participation of academians, prominent religious scholars and political leaders at Iran Culture Center Karachi. During speech at Quds Conference, head of Iran Culture Centre Karachi, Dr. Saeed Talebinia mentioned Zionist regime as cause of three major corruptions in world. He said, Israel is cause of spread of ideological corruption, moral corruption and security and political corruption all over world, especially in West Asia. He emphasised that unity of Shiites and Sunnis has caused Zionist regime to retreat from its false dreams and confine it to cities and towns.

Dr. Talebinia said that current weakness of Zionist regime is due to Islamic Revolution of Iran, under leadership of Imam Khomeini and Imam Khamenei and sacrifice of martyrs of Quds Cause.Iran's Consul General Hassan Noorian said, One of blessings of Islamic Revolution under leadership of Imam Khomeini is naming last Friday of Holy Ramadhan as World Quds Day.

After forty-four years, we are witnessing that more than 80 countries around world are celebrating on very large scale World Quds Day. It is because of Quds Day that Muslims are convinced to believe that Zionist regime, which was created by force and aggression, will ultimately become unstable, weak and decaying. Aqeel Anjam, one of leaders of Jamiat Ulama Pakistan said if Imam Khomeini had not declared Juma al-Wida as World Quds Day and representatives of Islamic Republic had not honored this day at world level, Palestinian cause would have been forgotten forever. Fact is that celebrating Quds Day has not only kept Palestinian issue alive but has also brought Sunni and Shiite unity.

Today's gathering is also manifestation of Islamic unity that representatives of all Islamic religions are present here. Johar Ali, Vice-Chancellor of Osman University of Technology said that due to Zionist conspiracies, Muslims have been victims of wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Azerbaijan and other countries. Only way out of such problems is through advancement in science and technology.

Religious scholar Sheik Salahuddin, political leader Shabbir Maisami and poet Farasat Rizvi were also among speakers.
