Karachi: Prominent sports patron and Chairperson AO Hospital Asma Shah (wife of former Sindh Minister Dr Muhammad Ali Shah) congratulated Nadra Mushtaq on her election as VP of fraction of Karachi Union of Journalists. She felicitated other newly elected body of Karachi Union of Journalists.

 Asma Shah, who is mother of former Sports and Culture Minister Junaid Ali Shah and Dr Imran Ali Shah said, “I hope unopposed winners will fully shoulder their responsibilities and keep truth-based journalism alive.”

Senior journalists Tahir Hasan Khan and Liaquat Ali have been elected unopposed as President and Secretary of faction of Karachi Union of Journalists respectively. According to an announcement, other office-bearers and members of executive council have also been elected unopposed.
