Dr. Asim's health unwell, medical board advises 3-month bed rest

Karachi: March 1, 2024: The former Federal Minister for Petroleum and senior leader of the Pakistan People's Party, Dr. Asim Hussain's health is unwell. He has been admitted to Dr. Ziauddin Hospital due to severe pain and swelling in his left shoulder, today.
A medical board, chaired by Dr. Athar Muniruddin Siddiqui from the orthopedic department, is being formed to conduct necessary examinations, including X-rays and multi-dimensional imaging MRI scans, to assess his condition comprehensively. He underwent a successful procedure.
After initial evaluation and considering his deteriorating health condition, Dr. Asim Hussain has been advised by medical professionals to take complete bed rest for three months. Consequently, he will be refraining from all professional engagements during this period.
