Dr Asim inaugurates NAPKO Clinic with modern medical facilities in North Karachi

KARACHI: Former Petroleum Minister Dr. Asim Hussain said that establishment of a clinic equipped with modern medical facilities in the area of District Central North Karachi Sector 5-B by North American Physician of Karachi Organisation is an exemplary step towards provision of better healthcare facilities to the masses.
If such measures are taken in other sectors as well, many basic problems of people can be solved, he expressed these views at an event in collaboration with American-based Pakistani doctors and Karachi-based doctors’ organisation (NAPKO) and Central Municipality. Addressing audience after inaugurating NAPKO clinic, Dr Asim said that we are grateful to NAPKO, with support of which we established charitable base clinic in New Karachi area where the poverty hit locals will get maximum benefit. He said that for public issues, cooperation of community and the major stakeholders is fundamental for resolving problems in the right way.
Deputy Commissioner and Administrator District Central Taha Saleem, NAPKO members Dr. Javed, Dr. Zahid Jamal, Dr. Shahabullah, Dr. Professor Jameel, Dr. Aman and number of doctors were present.
DC Central while speaking on the ocassion said that establishment of clinic by NAPKO is a welcome initiative. Patients will be able to get modern medical facilities close to their homes. Dr. Javed who came from America said that we are grateful to Dr. Asim Hussain and Deputy Commissioner with whose support we are starting this clinic regularly. Patients were in desperate need of a charitable clinics because most of patients are unable to get their treatment due to poverty. Gynae, ultrasound, ENT, eye specialist, chest specialist and general physician will also be present in NAPKO clinic to serve the ailing humanity with great care.
