Dr Asim Hussain paid rich tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah

Karachi: Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP)'s leader and former Petroleum Minister Dr Asim Hussain on Diamond Jubilee of Pakistan in his message said, "We are duty bound to work for Pakistan as it is prodigious gift of forefathers.

Father of Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, a great leader excelled all opponents with his wisdom and dignity and win motherland for Muslims of sub-continent.

Despite all odds, Jinnah never wavered and like rock smacked evils of that time with his determination and a country came into being on August 14, 1947 with all adversaries' mouth open and flabbergasted.

Dr Asim said, "Now it is our responsibility to build Pakistan a nation alike to vision of Quaid-e-Azam and great philosopher Allama Dr Muhammad Iqbal".

He said we should pledge on this Day to build Pakistan with our all might where equal opportunities should be ensured to all in education, health, economy, justice, sports and liberty to live.

There is dire need to promote democratic norms and spirit to respect each other's point of view in daily life and in politics, he opined.

Day is not far away when we earn accolade from world on accomplishing our goals with using our wisdom as a nation.  We should work for well-being of people of Pakistan. Pakistan always work for world peace and has courage to face hard times, Dr Asim acclaimed.
