Karachi: Senior PPP leader and former Minister Petroleum Dr Asim Hussain expressed his profound grief over two Army soldier embraced martyrdom in an exchange of fire with terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Bajaur district.

Meanwhile he also showed his sorrow over martyrdom of six policemen including an assistant sub-inspector were martyred near Dadiwala Police Station Khyber Pukhtunkhwa.

Condemning tragic incident, Dr Asim said such cowardly acts could not diminish morale of Army country's security forces. He said our brave soldiers and police personnel are scarifying their lives for safeguard our country. "There is no parallel to this act of gallantry and nation owes sacrifices of their sons", he added.

He expressed sympathy with bereaved families in this difficult time and prayed high esteem for souls in Jannah.
