Dr Asim expresses grief on demise of Prince Karim Aga Khan

KARACHI: Former federal minister and senior leader of Pakistan Peoples' Party Dr Asim Hussain expressed his condolences on the passing of Prince Karim Aga Khan.
On his official social media handle, Dr Asim wrote "It is with profound sadness that I extend my heartfelt condolences on the passing of His Highness Prince Karim Al Hussaini, Aga Khan IV.
His remarkable leadership, unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes, and dedication to improving the lives of countless individuals around the world have left an indelible mark on history."
He further wrote, "During this time of immense loss, my thoughts and prayers are with the Aga Khan family and the global Ismaili community."
Dr Asim said, Prince Karim Aga Khan was a visionary leader, philanthropist, and humanitarian, whose influence spanned the globe by devoting his life for the betterment of humanity.
The Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) stands as a testament to his dedication to improving the lives of people, especially in some of the most vulnerable and marginalized communities worldwide.
"His contributions to interfaith dialogue, cultural understanding, and global development will continue to inspire generations. His leadership not only impacted the Ismaili community but also the broader society, with his vision extending far beyond borders", Dr Asim said further.
