ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi awarded certificates to successful participants of 24th National Security Workshop at a ceremony held at National Defence University here.

Four-week long workshop was attended by senators, members of National and provincial assemblies, bureaucrats, ambassadors, senior officers from armed forces as well as representatives from civil society. Participants attended workshop with an aim to comprehend security environment and develop greater understanding of different dimensions of national security and challenges faced by Pakistan. President congratulated participants of workshop on successful completion of workshop on comprehensive national security.

He commended role of National Defence University in conducting National Security Workshops for benefit of such a wide range of leadership in country.
