Dr Ajmal's death great loss for society: Dital Kalhoro

Karachi: Condolence reference was held at Main Complex of Sindh Rural Support Organisation (SRSO) for slain Assistant Professor of Sukkur IBA University Dr Ajmal Sawand, brutally murdered near Kandhkot.

Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Dital Khalhoro described him as an eminent educationist, gentleman and great human being. Ajamal's death is great loss to society. Sindh will always remember him, he said. He said slain Dr Ajmal was friend of SRSO and supported their efforts especially during training of rural youth as Digital Heroes at Sukkur IBA University from vulnerable families and remote areas of Shikarpur and Kashmore- Kandhkot districts. He was committed and humble who sought to empower youth of Sindh through education and modern skills.

Participants paid tribute to deceased Dr Ajmal. They said vacuum created by his death could not be filled and demanded expeditious justice for Dr Sawand. Staff members prayed dua for rest of soul in peace and his family to find comfort during this difficult time.

Chief Financial Officer Asif Khuhro, Regional Manager Jamal Shoro, Manager MER Naveed Memon and Ms Shazia Shaikh also spoke.
