Don't spread despair, give hope instead: COAS

Islamabad: Chief of Army Staff Gen Syed Asim Munir cautioned against spreading despair among people and asked to give hope instead.

Army Chief was speaking to media in an informal discussion after swearing-in ceremony of caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar at President House. "We are very optimistic about future of Pakistan," Chief told media.

He said that he was looking at Pakistan as successful and developed country. "There is lot of potential in Pakistan. God has given our country everything," Army Chief stressed further.

COAS said that there is hope for best, adding that everything will be good as Pakistan was moving forward in very positive way.

"Pakistan is rich with resources and I assure you there is no danger to country," Army Chief said.
