Karachi: Administrator DMC East Syed Shakeel Ahmed initiated steps to provide better municipal services on Shab-e-Barat and in Ramadhan. A meeting with civic institutions was held on matter Water and Sewerage Board, Sindh Solid Waste Management Board, KMC and other civic agencies officials discussed plans. Issues of cleanliness, smooth water supply and sewerage came under discussion.

Shakeel Ahmed said that work of painting trees in and around cemeteries has been started from today. DMC East will provide facilities to area people in District. He said water tankers should be provided at every graveyard on Shab-e-Barat and letters have been written to masajid to point out issues surrounding their limits.
