Karachi: District Central remained centre of special attention of political leaders of Pakistan Peoples’ Party including federal and provincial government.

Local Govt Minister Nasir Hussain Shah and Advisor to Chief Minister of Sindh, Murtaza Wahab inaugurated several newly built parks under 100 Parks Project initiative in District Central.

100 Parks Project is link in same chain of initiatives taken to provide better civic and municipal facilities to Central, which aims to provide people with healthy environment and recreational opportunities near their homes under 100 Parks Project.

So far, about 57 dilapidated parks and playgrounds have been presented to public for recreation after reconstruction and renovation.

Under ongoing 100 parks maintenance programme in Central, newly constructed Shahday Haq Park was inaugurated in BR Sector 16-A of North Nazimabad along with Local Minister Nasir Hussain Shah on instructions of Deputy Commissioner and Administrator Taha Saleem.

Under supervision of Deputy Commissionr Nazimabad Hazim Bhangwar, sports court was also inaugurated under bridge of North Nazimabad Nagan Chowrangi, where children and youth can play various sports such as cricket, football, volleyball and basketball.

Nasir Hussain Shah said that Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah is paying special attention to construction and development of Sindh including Karachi.  He said that steps taken by central district administration to provide civil and municipal facilities to people are commendable.

Taha Saleem who is constantly engaged in efforts to make Central District model district thanked government and senior leadership of Pakistan Peoples’ Party and political leaders for their special attention to people of Central District. 

Government of Sindh and leadership of Peoples’ Party will continue to cooperate fully in construction and development of central district in future.

Sindh Local Government Secretary Syed Najam Shah, Municipal Commissioner Central Afaq Saeed, Pakistan Peoples’ Party District President Masroor Ahsan, General Secretary Dil Muhammad, Director Sports and Culture Akbar Hussain, Director Gardens Nadeem Hanif and other municipal officials were also present.
