District Central Police reviewed crimes chart, SSP Maroof Usman directs personnel to be vigilant

KARACHI: Karachi Crime meeting District Central was held under SSP Maroof Usman while ASP Liaquatabad Division, SDPOs sub-divisions including SHOs District Central participated in meeting.  Review meeting looked into performance of last 10 days in which officers were briefed on street crime, drugs and other heads. SSP District Central instructed them and directed them to be­ vigilant on street crime while carrying out effective patrolling as well.  He said that District Central Police has taken action against street crime in last 10 days, but these actions need to be intensified. He issued an order to officers to make strong cases against criminal so that accused could be convicted. Officers asked SSP District to hold a joint meeting with SSP District Central Investigation regarding follow-up of cases and progress in prosecution.
