District Central Police nabs street criminals, recovers goods

District Central Samanabad Police nabbed two street criminals. Accused were identified as Allah Wasaya alias Vasu and Bilal. Two TT pistols with 30 bore load magazines, four stolen mobile phones and a rickshaw were recovered from possession of the arrested accused.
Accused and other members of gang belong to South Punjab who fled to South Punjab after incident. Leader of the group is Gaffar, who is currently hiding in South Punjab while two operatives of group are currently in jail. Accused used rickshaws for crimes. Arrested revealed that Ghaffar used to target citizens who were leaving bank or ATM in rickshaw other on motorcycle robbed citizens. Accused confessed to incidents in limits of Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Aziz Bhatti, Joharabad and Malir City police stations. Accused snatched Rs one lakh and mobile phone from citizen near Super Burger in limits of Samanabad, CCTV footage of which is also available. Cases were registered against arrested accused and interrogation was under way, police said.
