District Central Police nabs five, recovers drugs, arms, bike

Karachi: District Central Rizvia Society Police nabbed drug peddlers and street criminals in separate operation within police limit. Two accused on charge of robbery in Nazimabad No. 1 near PSO pump were arrested. They were identified as Zeeshan and Adil Khan. A pistol 30 bore load magazine and a mobile phone recovered from possession. Cases under arms and robbery were registered against accused. In another operation, Rizvia police arrested accused drug dealers Muhammad Shehryar and Farhan. Police recovered 170 grams and 150 grams of hashish from possession of both accused. Cases were registered and they were handed over for interrogation.

Meanwhile, Paposh Nagar Police arrested one street criminal while two of his accomplices escaped taking advantage of darkness near Nazimabad No. 5 after brief encounter. Accused were busy robbing citizens when police reached there. Arrested injured accused was identified as Zeeshan while his two accomplices later identified as Asif Pathan and Arif Bihari, police claimed. A TT pistol with 30 bore load magazine and motorcycle was recovered from possession of accused. Preliminary interrogation revealed that accused recently returned from jail in 2021 MCB Bank robbery near 2 Minute Chowrangi. Cases have been registered against accused and were interrogated.
