District Central Police: Mega operation continues to grab street criminals

KARACHI: SSP District Central Maroof Usman has tightened noose around criminals to ensure safe and secure environment to resident of District Central. Operation to apprehend street criminals is now at rampant pace by police of district central.  According to police, 15 suspects involved in various street criminal activities including drug dealers and motorcycle lifters were arrested by concerned officials of various police stations working in district central. During operation stolen motorcycles were also recovered along with weapons and drugs.

Hyderi Market Police Station arrested Kamran son of Khalil, Akram son of Jan Muhammad and Ali Abbas son of Arif and recovered 2 stolen motorcycles. Yusuf Plaza Police Station nabbed Jamaluddin son of Muhammad Ibrahim and recovered 1 kg 570 grams of hashish. Gabol Town Police Station arrested Khalid Khan and recovered stolen motorcycle, Sharifabad police station arrested Saif Ijaz alias Bilal alias Bilal Muhammad Ijaz and recovered one pistol 30 bore load magazine, 60 grams of kandhania a mobile phone and cash. Sir Syed Police Station nabbed Farqan Haider son of Farooq Haider, Salahuddin son of Haibat Khan and recovered drugs and cash.

Gulbahar police station arrested God bless the son of Pinal Khan and Mumtaz Ali son of Muhammad Abbas and recovered drugs and cash. Gulberg Police Station arrested Sohail son of Murshid., Muhammad Hanif son of Muhammad Nazir, Abdul Shakoor son of Abdul Ghafoor, Nadeem son of Siddique and Ali son of Abdul Manan and recovered drugs, cash and motorcycle. Spokesperson of district central told media persons that cases against arrested accused has been registered and further investigation was underway.
