District Central Police: action against tinted glass, fancy no plates vehicles

Police stations in District Central carried out snap checking on highways and entry-exit points within limits of various police stations. On instructions of SSP Central, general hold-up snap checking was conducted from 7pm to 10pm in all police stations limits.

During snap checking, police took action against number of motorcycles and vehicles with fancy number plates. New Karachi Police removed 30 fancy number plates and seized them. Nine people were detained while 3 cases were filed.

Gulbahar Police dislodged 19 fancy number plates and took action against 3 accused while Rizvia Society Police took action against 11 fancy number plates and 3 tinted glass vehicles and arrested 2 accused.
