District Central officials visit sites, review Muharram arrangements

Karachi: Additional Deputy Commissioner I Central Arslan Salim and Transition Officer Central Municipality Shamoona Sadaf visited masajid and imambargahs of New Karachi Town. They reviewed measures being taken regarding Ashura Muharram. Instructions to provide all possible municipal facilities to mourners were given. They visited Jafaria Masjid and imambargah, Uzza Khana Zahra Sector 5D, Wali Masjid and imambargah. Asr Sector 5M, Masjid Panjatni and Imambargah Hussaini Sector 5F, Masjid and Imambargah Al Muhammad Sector 5C and others.

They met with management of imambargahs and organisers of congregations and processions and assured them all possible assistance during Muharram. Shamoona Sadaf said that all public service providers in District including Sindh Solid Waste Management Board, Karachi Water and Sewerage Board, Municipal Central Administration, Town Administration, Union Committee Chairmen are jointly working and providing all possible facilities. Transition Officer instructed concerned officials to keep contact with congregations and procession organisers during Muharram.
