Karachi: Action against illegal charged parking in Central District is going on directives of Deputy Commissioner and Administrator District Taha Saleem. Municipal Commissioner Afaq Saeed's said operation against charged parking mafia would be continued.

Illegal charged parking near Hydari Market, Ariana Store and Saifi Hospital were removed. Five persons were detained on running illegally charged parking business. Parking fee has been abolished by central municipality for past several months, Afaq Saeed said. Involved people will be punished according to law. All possible measures are being taken to provide relief to people, he added.

District administration is trying to implement orders of Sindh government and action will also be taken against road cutting mafia. In this connection in Buffer Zone Sector 15A-1, two persons were detained. Raids were conducted against illegal road cutting in parts of district as well. On illegal road cutting behind Sarina Mobile Market Sakhi Hasan two persons were detained.

No illegal activities will be tolerated in District. Building and road department of Central Municipality would stop road cutting and concerned departments' heads will check this menace round the clock.
