District Central Karachi Pakistan’s 3rd destination to display ‘Chrysanthemum’ exhibition: DC Taha Saleem

Karachi: Deputy Commissioner and Administrator Taha Saleem inaugurated five-day Chrysanthemum exhibition and 24-hour library. Taking steps to provide better civic and environment and facilities to dwellers of Central District, Taha Saleem said that 24-hour library at Federal B Area Block 14 after Taimuriya Library is welcome place for those who love visiting libraries.

Taha Saleem inaugurating Gul-e-Daudi exhibition in educational garden Federal B Area Block 14 said exhibition is New Year’s gift for people. Exhibition is organised in spirit of providing better entertainment and environment to public, while other programmes have also been prepared for entertainment. MC Central Zahid Hussain Rind, Director Admin Asim Abbasi, Director Parks Nadeem Hanif, representatives of print and electronic media were also present.

Sixty percent of projects have been completed while remaining are being gradually completed. For improvement of female educational institutions steps are being taken with cooperation of NGOs. Later, Taha Saleem along with Director Library Saleem Siddiqui inaugurated the Naseerabad Public Library in Federal B Area Block 14. Library will function 24 hours. After Islamabad and Lahore, Gul-e-Dauodi exhibition is held in central district.  More than fifty thousand plants of different types of daisies produced in nursery of department of gardens of central municipality are kept for public viewing.
