Karachi: A joint operation and investigation meeting under SSP District Central and SP Investigation gave strict instructions to officials to tackle street crimes and drugs trade. ASP Gulberg Division, SP New Karachi Division, ASP Liaquatabad, SDPO Sub-Divisions, SHOs District Central and SIOs District Central attended.

SSP District Central reviewed performance of officials and issued instructions. Earlier, SSP Investigation Central gave instructions regarding preparation of concrete cases against security and street criminals through joint strategy of operation and investigation. Important points came under discussion to conduct cases without defects.  He reviewed performance of SHOs regarding repeat offender, security and CCTV footage collection as per orders of Additional IG Karachi. On instruction of Additional IG Karachi, action taken against security and facilitators of accused in district central was reviewed and more suitable instructions were given to officials. All SHOs are strictly directed to make more arrests as per list provided of repeat offenders.

SSP District Central said that monthly performance of all SHOs is subject to arrest of accused in this list. He said that CCTV footage of every crime should be obtained and provided to CCTV desk in time. On other hand, he asked SHOs to ensure effective patrolling and snap checking on daily basis. He also issued orders to arrest fugitives.
