District Central fumigation drive continues, public health top priority, says DC Taha

KARACHI: Deputy Commissioner and Administrator District Central Taha Saleem said that public health is one of top priorities and any kind of negligence regarding public health will not be tolerated.
Giving instructions for eradication of spreading tropical ailments, he said that fumigation campaign should be continued uninterruptedly in entire district to eradicate germs that are causing spread of malaria, Dengue and other diseases. Disinfectant spray campaign in North Nazimabad under direction of Taha Saleem wa conducted.
Deputy Director of Sanitation Shabir Ahmed was present in zones where streets, schools, markets, parks, playgrounds, masajid, including 10 USCs of North Nazim were sprayed with disinfectants. It should be noted that this spraying campaign is being conducted with support of Sindh Solid Waste Management and KMC. During fumigation campaign in District, spraying of disinfectants is being ensured in all USCs.
Spray campaign vehicles are being dispatched to all USCs. Measures are in progress to eradicate flies, mosquitoes and Dengue virus born after rain.
