Since child marriage has been a global issue all over world. Child marriage refers to any formal marriage of a girl under age of 18 and an adult or another child. In late 18 century British colonial administration started early marriage for Hindu and Muslim girls in Indian subcontinent.

Twelve million girls are married before age of 18 years that is 23 girls every minute, one girl in 3 seconds through its an act of child restraint activity of 2013 but Sindh is only province that ban marriage before 18 years of age. As it has so many disadvantages like increased risk of transmitted sexual diseases, cervical cancer, malaria during child birth. As it has increased death of infant and child.

It has so many factors for child marriage like poverty, force of custom and tradition, facing difficulty in face of war and racism and lack of education and employment opportunities. Early pregnancy is most harmful practice. Below age 18 experienced violence, abuse and sexual violation due to unequal power relation. Honestly, child brides are 60 percent more likely to die in first year of life. Child marriage destroys girls' education and leads to poverty. We can prevent child marriage by reporting it to proper authorities, educate family and friends about why child marriage is harmful and promise to never be a part of any event that promotes child marriage and to end child marriage we must create awareness and educate both parents and kids.

As it is known as Sharda Act of harbilas Shardan. It came into being six months later April 1, 1930. Child marriage is considered as violation of human rights and a form of violence against girls. Elimination of child marriage by 2030 is a target under sustainable development goals SDG's.
