Diplomatic missions across world observe Kashmir Solidarity Day

ISLAMABAD: Diplomatic missions of Pakistan across world observed Kashmir Solidarity Day to express support for struggle of people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir for their right to self-determination.

Friends of Kashmir in Dallas, United States, organised seminar to show solidarity with people of Kashmir, Kashmiri diaspora, local dignitaries and Sikh community attended.

Pakistan Consulate General in New York also arranged an event. Number of people including members of Kashmiri and Pakistani community in New York, opinion leaders, scholars, students and journalists attended event.

Pakistan’s Embassy in China also observed Kashmir Solidarity Day by hosting ceremony. Embassy organised panel discussion on continued non-implementation of United Nations Charter and international laws for maintenance of world peace and security.

Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi organised an event to mark Kashmir Solidarity Day. Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi paid tribute to valiant people of IIOJK.

Embassy of Pakistan in Phnom Penh, Cambodia marked Kashmir Solidarity Day and reaffirm solidarity with Kashmiri people’s struggle. Embassy of Pakistan in Hanoi Vietnam also organised seminar to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day. Pakistan’s High Commission in Dhaka, Bangladesh also organised an event to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day.

Pakistan’s Consulate General Melbourne, Australia organised Kashmir Solidarity Day event, addressed by Consul General Syed Ali Raza. Pakistan’s High Commission in New Zealand organised event with participation of Pakistani diaspora from all walks of life. Embassy of Pakistan in Azerbaijan also organised an event.

People from different walks of life joined Embassy officials. Similarly, Pakistan’s Embassy in Spain also held an event in Valencia in this regard.  Pakistan’s Embassy in Tehran, Iran, Ambassador Mudassir highlighted brutal atrocities committed by Indian occupation forces in Kashmir.

Pakistan’s Embassy in Kathmandu, Nepal organised discussion programme on Kashmir Solidarity Day. Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo, Japan also marked Kashmir Solidarity Day.
