Dinner event organised in honor of national cricketers

Islamabad: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) organised a dinner in honor of the national cricketers in Islamabad yesterday to recognize and honor the team's accomplishments and feats. PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja, CEO Faisal Hasnain, President Arif Alvi, outgoing Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, and diplomats from other countries also attended the event.

 COAS talked to national cricketers and appreciated their performance at the T20 World Cup. Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa spoke to the national cricketers and appreciated their performance.  "National cricketers played very well, players should work hard moreto improve their performance; along with cricket, I like hockey and football; I will continue my support for the improvement of sports," Qamar Bajwa said. COAS also appreciated Babar Azam's leadership and hailed Shadab Khan.

He believes if Shaheen Afridi didn't have injured, Pakistan would have won the final. A question and answer session also took place with cricketers.
