DIG Maqsood Ahmed says, ‘flood victims get a big sigh of relief, happiness’

Karachi: With a joint collaboration of Security Division and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), 200 flood victims witnessed the first T20 match played between Pakistan and England live at the National Stadium, Karachi.
The flood victims were brought to the stadium through special buses of Special Security Unit (SSU) from their residential camps at various areas in Karachi. The victims appreciated the initiative taken by the Security Division and PCB and enjoyed the exclusive match. Later, meal boxes were also distributed amongst the flood affectees.
On the occasion, DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed said that the purpose of bringing the flood affectees to the stadium is to provide them some moments of happiness, as they are away from homes due to flood. DIG Security further said that the process of showing matches to the flood victims will continue in upcoming matches as well. Flood victims wishing to witness the match can contact on the following number or the focal person of their residential camp.
