Denning School of Law win 5th Law Students Cricket League tournament

Karachi: The Denning School of Law team won the final of the 5th Law Students Cricket League tournament played under Justice Helpline International after a tough competition by defeating Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Law University by one run. The Denning School of Law team had set a target of 191 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Chasing the target, the team of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Law University was bowled out by scoring 190 runs in the last over. Abdullah Aziz of Denning School of Law scored 126 runs with the help of 12 fours and 8 sixes. He was named Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.
Among the other prominent batsmen, Haris of Denning School scored 22 runs and Zahid scored 13 runs. Abu Bakar of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Law University scored 72 runs with the help of 7 fours and 4 sixes, Khaliq scored 41 runs with the help of 3 fours and 4 sixes, Afaq 17 and Faraz scored 15 runs.
Denning School of Law’s prominent bowler Ashab Tareen dismissed 4 players, Abdul Basit took three wickets, while for the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Law University, Abdullah took three wickets, and Abu Bakr two wickets. The man of the tournament went to Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Law University's Abu Bakr and the final's man of the match went to Abdullah Aziz of Denning School Offline. Prominent jurist and Justice Helpline Board of Patron member Prof. GN Qureshi, Bohri community leader Mansoor, Karachi Bar Association President Amir Nawaz Waraich, Ex-Director Legal FIA Syed Asrar Ali, Pakistan Olympic Association official Asif Azeem, prominent labor leader Syed Zulfiqar Shah along with the head of Justice Helpline International Nadeem Sheikh Advocate, General Secretary Haris Amin Bhatti, Saleem Michael Advocate distributed medals, prizes and trophies among the players.
On this occasion, the head of Justice Helpline International Nadeem Sheikh Advocate announced that the arrival of Chief Justice Sindh High Court Justice Aqeel Abbas is expected for the distribution of cash prizes. The entire team of Justice Helpline was congratulated on behalf of the Law Students teams for the successful conduct of the 5th Law Students Cricket League Tournament.
