DEMP, QMMB organize Kashmir Day event

Karachi: Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications (DEMP) in collaboration with Quaid-e-Azam Mazar Management Board (QMMB) commemorated Kashmir Day at Quaid e Azam Mazar.

Director General Press Information Department  Erum Tanveer attended as chief guest.  Intra-school art competition programme was held to show solidarity with Kashmiris.

Students participated in art work competition and showcased their thoughts in support of occupied Kashmiris. Erum Tanveer praised DEMP and QMMB for arranging event. Celebrating this day, young kids would become aware of what was happening in Kashmir.

She said Kashmir issue should be resolved under UN Charter. Issue is remain unsolved because we lowered our voices in favour of Kashmir freedom.

She pointed out that our seniors didn't connect youngsters in connection to their history.

Youth must be engaged in these issues. She shared her pleasure to talk with young kids as they were always energetic. Deputy Director DEMP Mehreen briefed Erum about students' work.

Erum Tanveer presented with shield by Resident Engineer Quaid-e-Azam Mazar Abdul Aleem Shaikh.

Abdul Aleem shared his views that this competition opportunity was to enhance children's ability to understand Kashmir issue and encouraged students for their hard-work.
